Registration & Fees

• Can I register the day of the race?

Yes, you can register the day of the event. However, registering early secures your spot, the price and gives you the chance to receive a free Without Limits Racing t-shirt!

• Do you offer refunds on registration?

All race entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• What are the entry fees for the Without Limits Racing 4 Mile Adventure Run?

Registration for the 4 Mile Adventure Run is $55.00 per participant. The price will increase to $65.00 per participant on October 12, 2011.

• What does registration include?

Registration includes entry in the 4 Mile Adventure Race, Without Limits race bib, Music throughout the race, post-race food and water, Free adult beverages*, Free Without Limits Racing t-shirt* and TONS of mud!!! *Five beers are included for each participant who is of legal age to consume alcohol. Be responsible- do not drink and drive. *Free Without Limits Racing t-shirt for the first 200 race registrants.

• What is the age minimum to participate in the Without Limits Racing 4 Mile Adventure Run?

Participants must be a minimum of 12 to participate in the 4 mile Adventure Run. Participants must be a minimum of 4 years old to participate in the 1 Mile kids fun run, however, racers ages 4-6 must complete the race with an adult.

• How can I confirm if I am registered?

Email us at withoutlimitsracing2@gmail.com and let us know your full name and date that you registered and we can confirm your registration!

Packet Pick-up

• What is packet pick-up?

Packet pick-up is where all race participants must check in, show photo ID, pick up their race packet, and sign the waiver.

• Can someone else pick up my race packet at packet pick-up?

No, each racer must pick up their own race packet at packet pick-up where they will sign a waiver and show photo ID. There are no exceptions.

• When do I pick up my race packet?

You can pick up your race packet on the day of the event at 7:30 am.

The Charity

• Does the Without Limits Racing 4 Mile Adventure Run have a charity partner?

The Without Limits Racing 4 Mile Adventure Run is pleased to partner with 2 local charities, Hopscotch for MS and Fund for H.O.P.E. Hopscotch for MS is an amazing organization that raises money for the South Florida Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Through hosting events that have a unique variety of schoolyard games, specifically focusing on hopscotch, they help provide funds for research to find a cure. Fund for H.O.P.E is another amazing organization that raises money for alternative therapies for low-income families with an autistic child. Help us support those who have been affected by Multiple Sclerosis and those who have been affected by autism.

Kids Fun Run

• What is the Kids Fun Run?

The Kids Fun Run is a 1 Mile portion, which includes some of the most exciting obstacles in the race course. Children ages 4-12 may participate. Children 4-6 must have an adult accompany them through the course. Kids do not have to pre-register for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Parents or guardians may sign a child up the day of the race at no cost.

• Can I walk with my 5 year old through the kid's course?

Yes, kids ages 6 and under must have an adult accompany them through the course.

4 Mile Adventure Race

• Is there a time limit to finish the 4 Mile Course?

There is no time limit to finish the 4 Mile Course. You may walk the course.

• Can friends and family attend to watch the race? If so, will there be an area for spectators at the beginning and/or end of the race?

Yes - friends and family are more than welcome to come out and watch the race! We will have plenty going on during race day for everyone to enjoy. Please remember there is a park entry fee of $1.50 per person.

• Can we form a team?

This event is for individual entries only. You are welcome to race with as many friends as you like but there are not formal team entries.

• Are there areas along the course where family/friends/spectators can photograph the athletes during the competition?

Yes, however, the best place to come view the race and take pictures will be at the mud pit!

• Can a person of average shape participate or do you have to be an elite athlete?

Without Limits Racing 4 Mile Adventure Run is for people of all fitness levels to enjoy themselves and have a great time out on the course! Anyone can participate; from those enjoy a casual walk to those who are experienced marathoners.

• Can a group of 6 - 10 people compiled of members in different age categories be assured to run together?

Yes - you will be able to run with anyone during the race despite his or her age or gender.

• How is the course marked along the routes? Are there volunteers that help point the way or offer assistance if needed?

Don’t worry! The course is extremely well marked, so you will not have any difficulty finding the way. There will also be volunteers throughout the racecourse who will help guide you.

• Is the race timed?

The race is timed. You will receive a Without Limits racing bib during packet pick-up, which you will attach to the front of your clothing. This will allow us to time the race.

Food, Water & Refreshments

• Are there water stations along the course?

Yes there are water stations spread throughout the 4 Mile course.

• Is the post-race food open to family & friends or just competitors? And does it cost?

The Post-Race food is free to all 4 Mile Adventure Run registrants. Additional wristbands can be purchased for spectators and children at the Registration Tent for $5.

• Are food wristbands included for the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run?

Post-race food wristbands are not included in the free entry to the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run. Children’s wristbands are available for $5 at the Registration Tent.

Volunteering

• There’s no way I can do this event, can I still help?

Yes, we always need volunteers. Email withoutlimitsracing2@gmail.com to find out about volunteering opportunities.

Awards

• Are there awards?

Yes, there will be awards at Without Limits Racing 4 Mile Adventure Race! Medals and awards will be given to the top 3 overall Males and the top 3 over females. Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each 5 year age group. The age groups are as follows: Male/Female 12-16 Male/Female 17-23 Male/ Female 24-28 Male/ Female 29-33 Male/ Female 34-38 Male/ Female 39-43 Male/ Female 45-48 Male/ Female 49-53 Male/ Female 54-58 Male/ Female 59-63 Male/ Female 64-68 Male/ Female 69-73 Male/Female 74+
